Wrath of the Lich King and Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe...!
This is pure redundancy if you clicked over to this from my main page, but I recently had the chance to voice a few characters in some well-known franchises: Arthas in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and Scorpion, Deathstroke and Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.
I don't have an active account on WoW at the moment, but I've put in my time (as my two mid-60 Ben-Franklin-lookalike paladins will tell you), and I was no stranger to Warcraft II and III back in the day. I enjoyed Arthas's storyline as a gamer in WC III, watching his ends-fit-the-means outlook twist him into something dark and cruel, and prompt his final Faustian bargain. It was a lot of fun voicing him; he's an interesting character. Villains usually are--especially villains whose noble intentions are what led them down the path to hell in the first place.
And then there's Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. I've put in my gamer-time with the MK franchise as well--though for any version past the original, "putting in my time" meant getting schooled by one of any number of 12-year-olds who had forsworn all temptations of companionship or education in favor of learning how to perfect my chump-ass with Baraka.
I haven't had a chance to play MK vs. DC or the WotLK expansion yet, but with the long Thanksgiving weekend fast approaching, maybe that'll change soon...
In other news, The Project That Cannot Be Named! (or TPTCBN!, if you prefer) continues apace, and I'm starting out on a very exciting gig that just came through. It's nothing I can mention just yet, but I'll be talking it up aplenty when the time is right...!

Did you vote yet? Good! If not, go out and do it already! Seriously, guys...my page'll still be here when you get back. Not only is it your civic duty, but you can get freebies from the likes of Starbucks, Ben & Jerry's and Krispy Kreme.
Pacific Media Expo: I know it's a bit of a last-minute development, but it looks as though I'll be giving a panel at this year's PMX down at the LAX Hilton--Sunday afternoon, 2-3 p.m., in LP2. I'll be discussing voice acting, ADR script-adapting and direction, fielding questions from the audience, and gluing it all together with delightful non sequiturs, as is so often my wont.
Valkyria Chronicles: I'm playing Radi Jaeger (one of the evil emperor's generals--check him out in the group-shot wallpaper of the heavies) in this gorgeous alternate-history RTS game for the PS3. Its street-date is today, but I've already seen folks identifying him as me online, so there ya go. OUT NOW!
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia: I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but based on the reviews I've seen, people are really digging it. I should get a chance in the next few weeks to give it a whirl, but don't you wait on my account. OUT NOW!
Castlevania: Judgment: I didn't remember to mention this in my last general update, but I've been fortunate enough to return as Dracula for this latest chapter in the franchise. While I can't say I've played all of them, I've been a fan of Castlevania ever since the first one on the Nintendo back in '87 or '88, so it's a real thrill to get to voice such an iconic character. OUT 11/18!
NeverLand Card Battles: This has been out for about a week now, but I wanted to let you guys know about a contest they're running over at Destructoid in which you can win one of four copies of the game signed by lead producer Yoshiteru Sato. Hey, I'd enter if I had a PSP--what's your excuse? OUT NOW!
In addition to these, I've got a live-action release and a few big game releases (no, not like rhinos) coming up in the next few weeks. Suffice it to say I'll pimp 'em out once I can--not to mention The Project That Cannot Be Named...!
