Some Anime Punch photos...
I didn't bring my camera with me to Anime Punch, so I'm depending on the kindness of others with regards to photos, but here are a few that folks have been nice enough to send along to me:

This picture is only funny to those who have seen my character in "Eureka Seven," and to me--and I'm not too sure about that first group!

Renton and Eureka cosplay (and you can only see a sliver of Eureka's wings, but trust me, they were awesome).

Jenn explains to me that that, no, she's not cosplaying a pregnant woman...

This is why I can't have nice things...

Two weeks until "Assassins" opens...!

(Click on the show poster above to visit the Sight Unseen site for ticket info and show dates/times.)
Opening night for "Assassins" is only about two weeks away at this point, and it's really coming along nicely. Anybody who's done their share of theater has been involved with shows where everybody's unspoken thought at the two-week mark is, "Oh crap, we're gonna go down like the Lusitania!"
This, thankfully, is not one of those shows. With "Assassins," two weeks feels like plenty of time in which to really fine-tune certain spots and polish the relationships and motivations until they shine as brightly as possible.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, this is my first foray into the world of musical theater in nine years, and my first time on stage in about four. If anybody's interested in attending, I'd encourage you to buy your tickets as soon as possible--four weeks isn't a particularly long run, and the Meta Theatre is a very intimate performance space, so seats are limited. Also, for anybody who wants to go and plans on buying tickets at the theater, please note that credit cards will not be accepted--it's cash or nothing at the door.
Now get out there and support some slightly seditious theater!
