July 23, 2006"Bleach" casting announced at Comic-Con...
I didn't realize this had been announced until a few guys I met at Persacon this year e-mailed me tonight to congratulate me, but it looks like the cat is officially out of the bag about some of the initial "Bleach" English dub cast, including my having been fortunate enough to snag the role of Isshin Kurosaki, the main character's rather manic father.
For the uninitiated: The "Bleach" Wikipedia entry.
Isshin's relationship with his teenage son Ichigo is...tempestuous, shall we say?

I just wanted to say congrats on getting the role of Isshin! He's such a great character, even though his relationship with Ichigo is a bit out there! :p But anyway, I hope that all is going well with the dubbing so far and that you're having fun, congrats again!
