    Back from PersaCon and A-Kon!

So, I was down in Texas for A-Kon last weekend, and down in Alabama for PersaCon the weekend before that. I met a lot of cool attendees and fellow guests at each con, pigged out on sushi one evening of each con, and emerged from each con's dealers' room financially unscathed (well, no more scathed than I'd been when I entered, at least).

Two cons in the space of two weekends may have been a bit too much for me. I don't know whether it was fatigue or just bad luck, but I came down with a pretty no-nonsense case of con-plague Saturday night at A-Kon last weekend. My friend Taliesin plied me with water, asprin and socks (which is probably all that got me through to Sunday), but I still spent all of that last day of A-Kon in bed.

Anyhow, I had a hell of a time at each con! I'll post some photos later, after I've found one or two in which I don't look totally goofy. This might take a while. If we had the chance to chat at PersaCon or A-Kon and you want to say howdy, drop me a comment or an e-mail through this site--and that goes double if we didn't get a chance to chat, or if we had to wrap up those Q&A panels we were doing before we got around to you.

(And, if anybody had actually planned on sitting at my particular table at A-Kon's Sunday afternoon banquet, my most sincere apologies. Find me at some other con when I'm not an active disease vector and I'll buy you a bagel by way of making amends.)
