I see much travelling in my future...
With PersaCon, A-Kon and ConnectiCon fast approaching, I'm only going to be in California for three of the next six weekends--and one of those homebound weekends will be dedicated to the madness that is AX!
Have larnyx, will travel!

Much love to the "Girls Bravo" cast
So, yeah. I'm not sure why the desire to update my sadly neglected site only hits me when all right-thinking people are asleep, but such is life.
The final volume of "Girls Bravo" finally hit the shelves a few weeks ago. It was odd to experience that final step in a creative process to which I'd dedicated a year of my life, to say the least.
I want to take a moment to reiterate what is already obvious to anybody who's seen any of "Girls Bravo": My cast was nothing short of awesome. Talented actors all, possessed of some wicked comedic timing, and there's not a one of them I wouldn't grab a beer with. Well, that guy who voiced Hayate was a bit of a schmo, but no cast is perfect.
Anyhow, if you guys have even half as much fun watching it as I had adapting/directing it, I'll come away from this feeling like folks got their money's worth. It's a goofy little show, but "Girls Bravo"--and the people whose hard work went into its dub--are always going to have a special place in my heart.
Yuri, Michelle, Lulu, Liam, Hunter, Carrie, Karen, J-Ray, Wendy, Robin...you guys all did one hell of a job. And Sergio, I couldn't have hoped for a better engineer.
And, apropos of nothing and before I get too maudlin here, manga Patrick (courtesy of Joanna Estep, artist and co-creator of Tokyopop's "Roadsong," and fellow Matsuricon guest):
(I wasn't even doing the eyebrow thing at the time--she said it just seemed like something I'd do.)
