I've been ignoring the ol' blog for a while now, but not for lack of exciting new projects coming in. Rather, there's plenty to talk about but nothing that's kosher to mention just yet.
I have made a few renovations to the site itself, though. I poked around online until I figured out how to make my new anime montage demo video pop up as its own window, which is probably more entertaining than practical. It'll still take the rest of your natural life to download if you're on dial-up, window or not.
I also abandoned all pretense of my futzing around with tables in HTML or scaring up a copy of Adobe, and just linked straight to my anime resume on www.crystalacids.com. They keep closer track of everything, anyway ("Wait...what was my character's name in 'Ghost Talker's Daydream'?")
At some point in the not-too-distant future, I'd like to have new headshots taken and put up. It's not like I'm pursuing on-camera work these days, so I don't need anything too expensive, but at the same time, those photos are getting pretty long in the tooth.

CommentsLong in the tooth? Heh heh. Not only were they not shot in this century, but... well... it's kind of like Kate Hepburn auditioning for "On Golden Pond" with a headshot from "Bringing Up Baby."

I'll have you know those were taken in 2001, old man!
And, with the weight gain and subsequent weight loss between then and now, I daresay I look more like those photos now than I did a year ago, or two, or three.
